‘Tharaa’ Used Books Exhibition at Oman Mall: Promoting Education Through a Community Initiative.
Reflecting the spirit of community cooperation, the Tharaa Volunteer Team organized a charity exhibition titled ‘Tharaa’ for used books at Oman Mall in Bawshar. The exhibition aims to promote a culture of reading and volunteerism within the community, in addition to supporting education by dedicating the proceeds to the Endowment Institution for Supporting Education (Siraj).
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of used books in various fields, including literature, science, religion, and children’s books, offered at symbolic prices accessible to all. The initiative was widely appreciated by visitors, who expressed their admiration for the efforts made to organize the exhibition and achieve its noble objectives.
This initiative exemplifies fruitful cooperation between educational institutions and the community, highlighting the importance of volunteer work in supporting education and fostering community culture.
The event aligns with Siraj’s ongoing efforts to support higher education in the Sultanate of Oman through its various programs aimed at assisting university students from underprivileged families, enabling them to complete their studies without financial obstacles.
This initiative serves as a living example of the importance of partnerships between educational institutions and the community in achieving sustainable development and enhancing the role of education in building society.
