Signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Technical and Applied Sciences University in Sohar.

The Technical and Applied Sciences University in Sohar signed a cooperation agreement with the Siraj Endowment Institution aimed at establishing a specialized laboratory in the field of aquaculture. The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Rashid bin Nasser Al-Mataani, Assistant President of the University in Sohar, and on behalf of Siraj by Eng. Mahmoud bin Khalfan Al-Hadidi, CEO of the institution. This laboratory represents an added value for both the university and the local community, providing an ideal research and educational environment for students across all academic levels. As aquaculture is one of the modern scientific approaches contributing to food security through marine products, the university, in collaboration with Siraj, established this laboratory at its Sohar campus. Such research projects aim to enhance comprehensive learning and education, preparing students for academic and scientific careers in marine biotechnology.
