The Endowment Institution for Supporting Education (Siraj) Holds Board of Directors Meeting

The Board of Directors of the Endowment Institution for Supporting Education (Siraj) held its regular meeting on Sunday, 23 November 2025, at the General Headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation and Chairperson of Siraj’s Board of Directors. During the meeting, the board reviewed several strategic matters, including the approval of previous decisions, a proposal to purchase an endowment building in Bawshar–Al-Khuwair with an estimated value of OMR 2 million, and a proposal to issue “endowment shares” to finance this project. The board also discussed the investment plan for developing the institution’s land in the Al-Khuwair area, covering 32,500 square meters, as well as the pilot launch of the institution’s donation machines in Muscat Governorate. The meeting included a review of the “Fundraising Competition among Higher Education Students” initiative and the “Charity Football Match” initiative, both aimed at supporting educational endowment projects and raising community awareness of the institution’s mission. The meeting concluded with discussions on several other topics listed on the agenda.
