Signing of Two Cooperation Agreements between the Mohammed Al-Browani Charitable Foundation and the Endowment Institution (Siraj) to Support Higher Education Students.

In the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, the Endowment Institution for Supporting Education (Siraj) signed two cooperation agreements with the Mohammed Al-Browani Charitable Foundation. The agreements aim to fund and support scholarships for academically outstanding Omani students from low-income families, enabling them to continue their higher education at private institutions within the Sultanate of Oman. The agreements were signed on behalf of Siraj by Eng. Mahmoud bin Khalfan Al-Hadidi, CEO, and on behalf of the Mohammed Al-Browani Charitable Foundation by Ms. Iman bint Mohammed Al-Browani, CEO. Under the first agreement, both parties will fund and support seven students from underprivileged families who demonstrate academic excellence to study at the German University of Technology in Oman, according to the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation through the Central Admission Center. The agreement includes a commitment from the Mohammed Al-Browani Charitable Foundation to provide OMR 170,940 to Siraj over a period of five years. This funding will cover the foundation program fees, bachelor’s tuition, monthly student stipends, as well as administrative costs for managing the project. The second agreement stipulates that the Mohammed Al-Browani Charitable Foundation will provide financial support to Omani students studying at their own expense, who meet the conditions and criteria agreed upon by both parties. This aims to alleviate their financial burdens and help them successfully complete their studies, ensuring educational stability. This partnership comes as part of national efforts to empower Omani youth and provide equitable educational opportunities for students from low-income families, helping them overcome financial challenges and successfully pursue their university education.
